Short Bio

478668_532787496767647_703915100_oChristian Brems is a master student of Visual Culture at the University of Copenhagen and Scientific Assistant for the Nordic art and science programme HYBRID MATTERS at the IT University of Copenhagen.

Christian is a Danish artist and researcher who has exhibited widely since 2010. Brems’ artistic work and research investigates the spaces that arise between mediums and disciplines, especially the textual and visual and the scientific and artistic discourses. In his master thesis he is focusing on how artistic research and ‘speculative visualities’ can contribute towards creating agency within the Anthropocene.
