Carlotta Porcelli

Carlotta is a master student of Bioinformatics in the Section for Computational and RNA Biology at the University of Copenhagen.

She completed her Bachelor degree in Computer Science with interdisciplinary course in Biotechnology from the University of Trento, Italy in 2016.

She is a research assistant in the Software and System Section of the Computer Science Department at IT University of Copenhagen where she works for the EVOBLISS project helping evolving the robotic platform in the Artificial chemical Life area.

Her goal is to use Evobot to optimize parameters, such as the environment, of artificial cells based on lipid bilayer interfaces and droplet-based emulsions, exploring their life-like characteristic self-movement.
